Bank of Maharashtra is the premier bank of Maharashtra. The Bank was formally registered under the Indian Companies Act, on September 16, 1935. The vision was to reach out and serve the common man and meet all their banking needs. Bank of Maharashtra obtained Scheduled Bank status in 1944. and in 1969 it was nationalized along with 13 other banks.
